Bob Harrell | Founder and President
With more than 30 years of experience as a process industry financial executive, Bob has lived the problems of ineffective contractor management and developed the solution – Track™ software. Before starting Management Controls, Inc. in 1989 and launching Track in 1994, he served as CFO/COO of a large contract services company; was a director of Internal Audit for ARCO and fulfilled the same role at Hydril. Bob received his MBA from the UCLA Executive MBA Program and his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
Sarah Durham Summers | Director, Client Services
Sarah is our window to the Management Controls Inc. client community. Since joining the company in 1997, Sarah has led our user training and project management teams. She also supports our clients in day-to-day problem-solving. If you have questions, Sarah can get you the answers, based on best industry business practices. Prior to joining Management Controls, she worked as a consultant for AON Consulting – providing Human Resource needs assessment, analysis and client support.
George Coyer | Vice President, Implementation
George joined Management Controls Inc. from Union Carbide, where, he was the MIS Director for that company’s Solvents and Coatings Division. A 27-year veteran of chemical industry IT, George is experienced in project management, software implementation, work process redesign and SAP integration. George's background includes systems development, operations, customer service and database administration. He is a 1998 winner of Union Carbide’s “Chairman’s Award,” based on work related to the Supply Chain implementation of SAP/R3.
Bill Crowley | Vice President, Sales
Bill brings 10 years of Sales and Account, Program and Product Management experience to his role at Management Controls. His background includes work with Fortune 500 clients in the Utility, Energy, and Process Industries. He’s specialized in a broad set of eBusiness solutions – including eProcurement, eSourcing, Strategic Sourcing, Spend Analysis and Services Spend Management. Before joining Track, Bill was Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Perfect Commerce (formerly Pantellos). He earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
Asim Salim | Director, Software Development
Asim provides leadership to Management Controls, Inc.’s software development and software quality assurance efforts. Early in his tenure (2001) Asim provided technical leadership in the complete rewrite of Track’s earlier Microsoft Windows client-server products to the Microsoft .Net Framework. Prior to joining Management Controls, Asim worked as a software engineer for Convergys, a customer relationship and HR solutions provider. At Management Controls, Inc., Asim works with customers to assimilate new Track functionality and versions as he and his team integrate client requests into upcoming versions of Track™ software. Asim, a native of Pakistan, is a graduate of the University of Houston. He provides technical and functionality leadership to the development group as they prepare Track v6.0, the multi-language, multi-currency Enterprise version of Track for commercial availability mid-2008.
